Penhaligon’s

Sir Winston Churchill was the first client of the distinguished barber and perfumer William Henry Penhaligon. Born in Penzance on the south-west coast of England, he went to London in the year 1860 at the Jermyn Street. He sold razing waters, balms and perfumes of his personal creation to high personalities of the English aristocracy. Stimulated by his success, he extended his collections to perfumes and bath lines. Specially selected raw materials and classical and stylish bottles and packages delighted aesthetically demanding clients.
